New Link Road and Leisure Centre Car Park - Traffic Island in Deer Park Adjacent to the Junction

Henfield Parish Council had expected to remove the traffic island in Deer Park adjacent to the entrance to the new Link Road as part of our construction work but we have been prevented from doing so. To explain why we have issued a press release today which you can read in full using this link HERE. Henfield Parish Council’s latest letter to the owners of the road can also be read using this link HERE.

When the road opens please could we ask drivers and pedestrians to exercise caution when negotiating this traffic island next to the new junction.

Horsham District Council announced that 2019 will be its Year of Culture with a range of events and activities taking place to celebrate the culture and heritage that we have throughout the district.

Henfield has decided to participate with its own 2019 Year of Culture and to encourage local people and organisations to organise events and activities which celebrate our own culture and heritage. We hope this will be interesting and entertaining for our residents and encourage visitors to come along and join in. We have also agreed to work in partnership with our neighbours in Woodmancote and Shermanbury and we hope that the activities will take place across our three parishes. Henfield Community Partnership has agreed to take on the task of leading and organising our Year of Culture events and Liz Taylor has agreed to Chair the Organising Committee.
