Henfield Parish Council currently have two vacancies for Parish Councillors. Applications need to be received by the 12th of January and will be considered at the Parish Council meeting on the 6th of February. Please contact the Parish Office to find out more and request an application form.
Jointly with Horsham District Council Parks department, Henfield Parish Council orgainised an successful event planting bulbs for spring colour and pollinators. Many thanks to all those who attended. Several new fruit trees have also been planted near Wantley and some new trees on verges in Flower Farm Close.
Henfield Museum is currently displaying a collection of festive salt and pepper pots kindly loaned by a local resident. They are also selling Christmas Cards featuring local historic scenes. Do pay them a visit or take a look at the Henfield Museum Website.
At a meeting of Horsham District Council Cabinet Members on 11 December 2023, senior councillors will consider whether the emerging Horsham District Local Plan Regulation 19 document should be recommended for presentation to full Council, which will meet later the same evening.
The Council will be asked to consider proposals for future planning development between 2023 and 2040. If they give their approval, the Local Plan document will be published for a formal ‘period of Representation’ which would take place from Friday 19 January to Friday 1 March 2023.

Get your Covid-19 and flu jabs nowWSCC are encouraging eligible residents who’ve not yet come forward, to get vaccinated against flu and Covid-19 ahead of the festive and new year season when flu and Covid-19 are expected to peak. Having both vaccines provides the best level of protection against severe illness and will help ease the pressure on the NHS this winter. Those eligible can book a Covid-19 vaccination online via the NHS website, via the NHS app or by calling 119 free of charge. Some people may be eligible for both seasonal Covid-19 and flu vaccines and may be asked if they would like both vaccines at the same time. |
