The Plans Advisory Committee will be discussing the recent Croudace appliation for 191 homes at the Land North of Dalblair House, Furners Lane on the 16th of January at 7pm in the Garden Room at Henfield Hall. Members of the public are welcome to attend as usual. All comments should be submitted directly to Horsham District Council via the planning portal.
Henfield Parish Council have approved their budget and expenditure for 2025/26. There will be an increase of 7% on the precept which is 6.8% or £8.68 per annum for a band D property.

The Cabinets of the three Sussex upper tier Councils have agreed to submit an expression of interest to be considered for the Government’s Devolution Priority Programme indicating support for a Sussex Mayoral Strategic Authority which could unlock new powers for the region.
The Government’s white paper on English Devolution states that Mayoral Strategic Authorities will bring funding and local decision-making powers down from central government to deliver on economic growth, jobs and skills, housing and transport. See the full WSCC news release on devolution here.
