The Parish Council are aware of the fire started in the brand-new litter bin at the skate park. This was attended by Henfield Fire Brigade and has been reported to the Police, although no further action will be taken at this stage due to lack of CCTV coverage.

The AGM for the Henfield Community Partnership will take place on the 12th September.

The Henfield late-night shopping event will be on the 6th December.

Repairs to the cemetery lighting will take place on the 25th September.

Calling all jobseekers to Horsham District Jobs Fair 2024

Jobs Fair 2024 Horsham District Council is issuing a shout out to all local job hunters who are looking for paid work, voluntary work, apprenticeships or new training opportunities to come along to theHorsham District Jobs and Skills Fair on Saturday 21 September from 10am to 2pm at the Drill Hall in Denne Road, Horsham.

Jobseekers will be able to meet a broad range of employers from lots of different industries and find out about a host of exciting work and training opportunities available.

Young people of the District invited to shape future leisure and outdoor spaces

Young People's Survey Horsham District Council is inviting people to share their thoughts about outdoor space and leisure provision for teenagers in a new survey launching today.

There will also be a series of focus groups with local schools and youth forums. The survey was created by a special task group of councillors, set up to understand whether outdoor spaces in the District meet the needs of teenage girls and boys equally.

The results will help the Council to review current policies to try and ensure shortfalls identified are addressed in future design and planning.

West Sussex County Council News

WSCC will be carrrying out surface improvement works to the Downslink between Upper Station Road and Betley Bridge from the 2nd September for two to three weeks.
