Henfield Parish Council have a team of tree wardens who meet regularly to discuss maintenance of trees as well as planning for the future.

One of our tree wardens also regular reports to pur Plans Advisory Committee, offering advise about proposed works and felling of trees. Planning permission must be sought for all works to trees in the conservation area, as well as to any tree with a Preservation Order. Community Road Verges

In conjunction with the team at WSCC, Henfield already has two established Community Road verges at the Borrer Bank and on Manor Way as well as wildlife friendly planting by the swales at the Link Road. These increase biodiversity and provide vital wildlife corridors through the village. To find out more about Community Road Verges please click here
